Continuing with the BJANA tradition, we are going to award a certificate and cash prize during our Holi event on March 17th, 2024 to students from BJANA community who score high SAT scores.
This year’s award sponsorship details for SAT are:
- $500 sponsored by the family of Drs. Chitra Kumar & Arvind Kumar (1st prize)
- $500 sponsored by the family of Mrs. Anjali Akhaury & Mr. Rajiv Akhaury in the memory of late Dr. Ranjan Akhaury (1st prize)
- Sponsored by BJANA family of Chitra and Manish Varma in the memory of Late Sanjay Prakash (1st prize)
- $300 sponsored by BJANA family of Madhulika, Rajesh, Dr. Malya & Rauhin Sahu of Monroe in memory of Educationist & Social worker Late Sri. Ram Kumar Sahu of Ranchi, Jharkhand. (2nd Prize)
From the year 2024, a new scholarship award for ACT score will also be considered.
The award sponsorship details for ACT are:
- $250 sponsored by BJANA family of Mrs. Vigya Singh & Mr. Sanjeet Singh in memory of late Smt. Babli Rani Singh for the highest ACT score.
All awards will be presented during the BJANA Holi Event on March 17th, 2024. All award recipients are required to be present at the event to receive the award.
| Eligibility for application: The student must be of Bihar or Jharkhand origin. The student must be expected to go to college in Fall 2024. Method of Application: Eligible candidate shall apply via email sent to contact@bjana.org no later than March 7th, 2024. Please send the following information: 1. Name, address, email, and phone number of the candidate and parents.2. Name of the high school.3. Name of the college the candidate is expected to join (If available).4. A scanned copy of the qualifying SAT score or ACT score. 5. In case of a tie, the one with the higher/highest school GPA will be considered as the winner.6. Any proof of class of 2024. *The decision by the BJANA Executive Committee on the selection of awardees will be final. |
