Step into the Home Page of the Bihar-Jharkhand Association of North America (BJANA) – a vibrant social and cultural hub for individuals hailing from Bihar and Jharkhand. Established in 1975, BJANA serves as a unifying platform, fostering social and cultural connections among the Bihar and Jharkhand communities, actively in the states of NY, NJ, PA, and CT in the USA.”
BJANA operates as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, making all donations tax-deductible. Our tax identification number is: 13-288-7235.
Why You Should Engage Yourself
You don’t know anyone in BJANA ? Please do not hesitate if you don’t know anyone, just email us contact@bjana.org.
Becoming a BJANA member does not required any fees. Currently, BJANA membership is free, and you can become a member of BJANA family by choosing option Become A Member from top menu. If you are your roots connected to Bihar or Jharkhand state of India then this is the place to connect with people of your origin

Chhath Puja 2024
Chhath has become BJANA‘s flagship event over last few years so much so that last year over 600 devotees attended the event. This year also we are going to keep up with our tradition and are committed to provide a platform for the Vratis who are doing Chatth puja this year.

Dear BJANA Community Members,
We are pleased to announce that the team of five Executive Committee officers and four Executive committee members nominated by Sanjeev Singh (President-elect) is declared elected for the year 1/2024-12/2025. There was no other team proposed.
